Hi there!
I was born on 24'th February 1969 in
Baia-Mare,
Romania.
I am a graduate student at the "Babes-Bolyai" University of
Cluj Napoca.
Right now I am studying in
Heidelberg (owing to a DAAD
fellowship). I will be here at least until the end of July.
Scientific Interests:
My diploma thesis deals with a mecanism of automatic detection of
parallelism in "Loop-Exit" schemes. I was also concerned in the field of
mean-value theorems
and spline functions. The directions which I intend
to follow for my Ph'D thesis
are (largely speaking) numerics of
singular perturbation problems. I am strongly interested in spectral type
methods and multigrid methods.
